These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Handy 4 London's services. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

Handy 4 London provides professional property services including handyman services, painting and decorating, carpentry, property maintenance, bathroom refurbishments, kitchen refurbishments, full house renovations, loft conversions, house extensions and general building works across London. Services are delivered by our team of vetted specialist tradespeople coordinated by Handy 4 London.

2. Quotes and Pricing

• All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated
• Prices may vary if the scope of work changes
• We reserve the right to adjust pricing based on site conditions
• Payment terms will be agreed upon before work commences

3. Booking and Cancellation

• Bookings are confirmed upon acceptance of quote

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee of £75. For renovation projects where materials have already been ordered or work has commenced, any material costs and labour already completed are non-refundable.

4. Liability and Insurance

• We carry full public liability insurance
• We are not liable for pre-existing damage or defects
• Claims must be reported within 7 days of work completion

5. Payment Terms

For handyman and maintenance jobs, payment is due upon satisfactory completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For renovation and refurbishment projects, a deposit of 50% of the agreed quote is required before work commences, with the remaining balance due upon completion.

For larger projects exceeding £10,000, payments are structured in agreed stages tied to project milestones. The full payment schedule will be confirmed in writing during the quotation process before any work begins.

We accept cash, bank transfer and card payments.

A late payment charge of £5.00 per day will apply to any outstanding balance after 7 days from the invoice date. We reserve the right to suspend further work until outstanding amounts are settled.

6. Customer Responsibilities

• Provide safe access to the work area
• Ensure pets are secured during our visit
• Inform us of any hazards or special requirements

7. Warranty

We guarantee our workmanship for 12 months from completion date. This does not cover wear and tear or damage caused by third parties.

8. Complaints

If you're not satisfied with our work, please contact us within 7 days. We'll work to resolve any issues promptly.

9. Photography & Marketing

We may photograph completed work for use in our portfolio, website and marketing materials. No personally identifiable information will be included. Please notify us in writing before work commences if you do not consent to photography of your property.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
